Galileo grows senior team
01/11/09
Galileo has strengthened its senior team with two new appointments to support its rapid expansion in its City of London home. Jordan Pullen joins from Williams Lea to bolster the agency’s ASP.NET development function, and Julian Simpson joins from Milestone as a Senior Account Manager with responsibility for Thomson Local, MTV and Marriott Hotels.
Commenting on the appointments, David Jones, Managing Director (Business Development & Strategy) remarked:
"These appointments demonstrate our commitment to bolstering our senior team as we continue to expand. We do not hesitate to do whatever it takes to attract London’s top talent to our agency, across creative, planning, account handling and technology.
Too often do brands have to choose between a creatively exceptional agency, or a technically proficient agency; Galileo is doing its bit to destroy this false dichotomy once and for all."
Ed Lecky-Thompson, Managing Director (Commercial & Operations) added:
"The agency has had a bumper year, in no small part due to significant client wins from some big names like MTV, eBay and a major international financial services group. As we go into 2010 I feel supremely confident that we have an exceptional team on board to look after our clients and ensure that not only do our existing customers keep coming back for more, but that we diversify our offering to an even broader spectrum of brands.
The creation of our European Operations function means that we enter the New Year servicing our first clients in France and Germany; with pan-Channel currencies in parity for the foreseeable future the enviable quality of British creative and technical talent is now well and truly at the disposal of our friends on the continent."
