Like any growing agency Galileo uses the services of recruitment agencies from time to time to fulfil permanent and contract employment requirements. Due to the overwhelming number of agencies approaching us, we have developed this policy-procedure to provide information to current and prospective agencies wishing to supply us. Please read it carefully.

Our permanent appointments generally comprise:

• Account Managers
• Project Managers
• Hybrid HTML/CSS/Developers / Designers
• Senior ASP.NET Developers
• Senior Open Source (PHP, J2EE, Ruby etc) Developers
• Administrative staff

Our contract appointments typically last from 3 days to 3 weeks and comprise:

• HTML/CSS/Developers
• Senior ASP.NET Developers
• Flash/Actionscript Developers
• Senior Open Source (PHP, J2EE, Ruby etc) Developers

We operate a strict roster policy for the use of recruitment agencies. Agencies we use are allocated a vendor code and are issued with purchase orders prior to purchases. Payments are made on 30 day net terms following receipt of a valid invoice quoting a valid PO.

If you are not currently a vendor (i.e. you do not have a vendor code) and are interested in supplying us with permanent or contract staff, please note the following:

• Our roster is reviewed twice yearly, in April and October
• We will never have more than four agencies on roster at any one time
• We never accept unsolicited CVs, Resumes or Profiles (even with names changed) – even from roster agencies; this breaches data protection legislation and you will be reported to the Office of the Information Commissioner
• We do not communicate regarding positions with agencies over email who have not yet been appointed as a vendor
• If you would like to be considered as a vendor please send an email with your details and any pertinent covering information to info@galileolondon.com with “UK/LCY/Vendor Application (Recruitment)” in the subject line. You will be sent a form to complete via return email. If your application is of interest we will contact you and may appoint you (and allocate a vendor code) April 30th or October 31st as appropriate. We do review all applications thoroughly.
• No contract exists between Galileo and any agency without allocation of a vendor code

Agencies that do not follow the above approach will not be considered. Galileo regularly exchanges factual information regarding the conduct of agencies with other businesses in its sector.
